Your username will end with the prefix nook.com.au. (eg. mammajoe.nook.com.au). This is also the URL or web address for your nook, so you can visit your nook and those of other members directly by entering the username and prefix into a web browser.
Avatar
Round off your great-looking nook with an avatar, a profile picture that helps identify you to the nook world.
It shows the world who you are and adding one is easier and more fun than cuddling a skunk.
Just follow these simple (and, yes, a tad boring) instructions.
1. Find a photo that you like. Choose one that looks good small, save it to your computer’s desktop (right mouse click on the picture, scroll down to `Save Picture As’, change the `Save in field’ to `Desktop’ and click on `Save’).
2. Sign in to your nook page and you will arrive at a page headed `Your Home Page’, also known as the `Dashboard’.
3. Click on the tab near the top of the page called `Profile’.
4. Click on the tab called `Your picture’.
5. Click on `Browse’, make sure the `Look in’ field says `Desktop’ and you should see your photograph’s icon. Click on it, then click on `Open’.
6. Click on `Update profile’ and it’s all done.
7. Refresh your nook page to see the new photo.
8. Post away and bask in the glory of your new identity on nook.Upload Picture
This does require a little skill to master, but once you get it once, it’s as easier as drinking.
1. start new entry - a post, question, or review.
2. Browse to the photo and click ‘upload’ before clicking ‘publish’. (The ‘upload’ and ‘publish’ buttons are at the bottom of the page. Giving the photo a title is optional - but just make sure you press upload before publish).
3. Right-click the image once it has uploaded and nominate ’send to editor’ (use ‘original’ for bigger size)
4. check size of image, crop it, reduce or enlarge.
5. click ‘publish’ to complete the post, comment or question.Admin team’s nook
